Middle Island Trails

The trail system on Middle Island takes you through the lush forested area on the western half of the Island. With a number of lookouts and rest areas, these short trails are ideal for families of all ages. Take a few moments to learn about the history of Middle Island from the number of interpretive panels located along the trail system.

A map for the trail system is located in the Miramichi Landings kiosk between the Middle Island Interpretive Centre and Captain's Galley Restaurant. If you would like a physical trail map, please stop by our Welcome Centre on Historic Water Street, just minutes from Middle Island.
