Beaubears Island Interpretive Centre

Welcome to the Beaubears Island Interpretive Centre! Our Interpretive Centre is your gateway to Beaubears Island. Here you will discover the history of Beaubears Island and the community of Nelson-Miramichi through a variety of interactive audio-visual displays, scale models and replicas, and artifacts found on and around Beaubears Island.

Our Interpretive Centre is open from May 16 to October 8, 2011 with tours available from June 26 to August 27, with other reservations available upon request.

Stop by our Interpretive Centre, 35 St. Patrick's Drive, to book your next Historic Tour, learn about our storied past, and purchase some unique Miramichi souvenirs. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff are eager to share their love for this great island and community.

Monday - Saturday, 10am - 4pm
Sunday, 12pm - 4pm

June 27 - August 29
Monday - Saturday, 10am - 8pm
Sunday, 12pm - 8pm

Admission Rates:

Regular Admission - $5.00/person
Student / Senior Admission - $3.50/person
Children Under 5 - Free Admission
