There is a driving vision that keeps the people of the Miramichi Region moving forward.

First, we have a deep conviction that we live in one of the best spots in Canada, perhaps in the world, and we want to share with others the natural beauty, our friendly lifestyles, and our special sense of history.

Second, we are all united by the Miramichi River and want to keep our special local neighbourhood heritages that are the key to our family lifestyle and community involvement.

Third, we have a cyclical forest-based economy and we want to further revitalize the economy with tourism, small manufacturing, agriculture, service and knowledge-based industries, so that our young people will be able to remain here.
